Privacy Statement
Pursuant to Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: "GDPR") (OJ EU L 119, p. 1), we inform you that:
- The Administrator of personal data is Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, ul. Wieniawskiego 1, 61-712 Poznań. The registered office of the Editorial Board of the Adam Mickiewicz University Law Journal: Collegium Rubrum, Al. Niepodległości 53, 61-714 Poznań, room 208.
- The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at: iod@amu.edu.pl.
- Personal data are processed for the purpose of carrying out and documenting the peer-review, editorial, and publishing processes.
- The data are processed pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, i.e. your consent. The data are also processed for evidentiary (archival) purposes, i.e. to demonstrate certain facts where necessary, which constitutes a legitimate interest of the Administrator pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Personal data may be disclosed to entities external to the Administrator that operate databases, repositories, and platforms indexing or disseminating scholarly content, with which the journal cooperates (e.g. DOAJ, Crossref, EBSCO, CEEOL).
- Some of the entities referred to in point 5 may be established outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the United States). In such cases, the transfer of data takes place with an appropriate level of protection of personal data, in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR (e.g. on the basis of mechanisms approved by the European Commission).
- Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
- Data subjects have the right to be informed about the scope of the personal data being processed, to access their content, to have their data transferred, to request the rectification of their data, to request the erasure of their data or the restriction of its processing, to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data, and to object to the processing of their data by sending a message to: zeszyt@amu.edu.pl, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warsaw.
- Personal data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling, pursuant to Article 22 of the GDPR.
